Mt. Yale
Matt and I headed out for our first 14er of the season. It was nice to have a fresh dusting of snow to greet us on Memorial Day - what a crazy season of snow we've had! This was a super scenic hike with a fun glissade down. We slid so fast that Max could hardly keep up. Unfortunately, the fun ended when we got back down to treeline and had to trudge through really soft snow all the way back. It was a great reminder of why I don't do more snow climbs.
