Alaska - Part 2
Day two began with whale watching as Warren spotted another humpback sharing our tiny cove. After a hearty breakfast, we headed out for a sunny day of fishing. Our first stop was halibut. We later moved on to trolling for salmon. Much to my surprise, I enjoyed helping the boys drop lines and real them in.
After fishing, we swung by the sea lions again on the way to Kayaker's Cove where we would spend the next two nights. After multiple trips on the dingy, we had all of our gear on land. We got settled and headed out for a brief hike. The lushness of the forest and the layers of undergrowth amazed me. It was easy to find a tree growing from a clump of moss growing on an old fallen tree. After dinner we settled in at the campfire for smores and another slow motion sunset.
