Alaska - Fox Island

For our second day of kayaking, Matt and I went back to Fox Island for a hike to the summit. The climb was steeper than we expected, and I happily used the old ropes to pull myself up. On the summit, we were rewarded with grand views of Resurrection Bay. On the way back, we had another close encounter with wildlife. This time it was a porcupine that quickly scurried up the tree right by me.
